Early Times Report

Poonch, Nov 13: Two months ration meant for 14 cluster schools under mid day meals scheme in Kasblari sector of Mankote is allegedly said to be embezzled by the incharge mid day meals who has a nexus with the concerned ration dealer, sources said here today.
Sources said cluster schools including primary and middle level have not received the allotted 29 quintals ration for the month of July and August 2018, due to unholy nexus of the ration dealer of Kasblari and the Mid day meals incharge of these schools who is said to be ReT teacher while a complaint in this regard was made before the zonal Education Officer Mankote who assured to look into the matter but nothing concrete was done.
Though the men at helms claim to have despatched the required ration to these schools regularly and without any delay yet it is to be sorted out for what reasons the supply was stopped and where the ration of such a huge quantity went are the questions to be solved.
Furthermore chief Eductaion officer Poonch Mushtaq Ahmed while talking to Early Times said that ZEO Mankote and Dy CEO has been directed to investigate the matter and submit the report to his office with in a stipulated time frame to initiate a proper action against the accused if any in the matter, CEO added.
