Star Eleven and Samar Cricket Club register wins in 7th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Cup

JAMMU, Nov. 15 : Star Eleven and Samar Cricket club registered wins and enters in the next stage of the league round of the "7th Eid Diwali Milan Cricket Club"
In today's matches SSP Kulbir Singh SSP PCR Jammu was the Chief Guest whereas Ravi Kant Puri former Sr. Cricketer and Former member of Vishal Cricket Club was the Guest of Honour. The Guests were introduced with the participating teams and they conveyed their best wishes for their best performance in the tournament and other forthcoming matches.
Earlier in the first match Star Eleven defeated Sparton Cricket Club by wickets. Batting first Sparton Cricket Club scored 117 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs game. Arsh scored 41 runs , Sachin 33 runs and Ashwani made 14 runs. From bowling side Irshad took 3 wickets while Ajay, Sunil Sambyal and Yash took 1 wicket each. In reply Star Eleven chased the target in 16.2 overs for the loss of 5 wickets thus won the match by 5 wickets. Nitin with 26 runs, Kewel 23 runs and Ajay 20 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side, Ashwani took 2 wickets, Nanish took 2 wickets and Rishab took 1 wicket. Irshad adjudged as Man of the match.
In another match, Samar Cricket Club defeated Evershine Cricket Club by wickets. Batting first Evershine Cricket Club scored 88 runs for the loss of all wickets in 18.2 overs with Ravinder 17 runs, Chamkor Singh 15 runs and Harjot 10 runs. From bowling Side Deepak Dogra took 5 wickets, Vishwajeet Singh and Sourav took 2 wickets each while Rahil and Sahil took 1 wicket each. In reply Samar Cricket Club chased the target in 14 overs for the loss of 2 wickets thus won the match by 8 wickets. Amritpal Singh scored 33 runs , Gokul made 30 runs and Sahil made 11 for their team. From bowling side Harjot and Ravinder took 1 wicket each. Deepak Dogra was adjudged as Man of the Match for his bowling performance.
