| Searches operation go in vain | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 15: Joint teams of Rajouri police and army today launched two search operations under the jurisdiction of Rajouri police without results.
"After speculative information provided by the sources about the suspicious movement in Sarol village and in Bela colony (ward No.2) in Rajouri town, search operations were launched," said Yougal Manhas SSP. He added it was the official duty of the district administration / police to sanitize the area from where the information about the suspicious movement pours in. Sources said that in the wee hours reportedly an Army sentry noticed movement of a person near 2-3 houses in Bela colony and the person reportedly was using the mobile phone light. "As on Wednesday two militants were apprehended by the SOG and army team At Jaranwaligali in Poonch district and after suspected presence of 5 other militants in the area, alert was also sounded in Rajouri district" said sources. The sentry informed the senior officers and with the help of SOG team of Rajouri police search was launched in the targeted area at about 11 am. During search the house was found locked and the owners were summoned who informed that their son-in-law was at home and he had to leave the town in early morning hours. "Another search was conducted by the police and army at Sarol village after information of suspicious movement" said SSP. Pertinent to mention that Corps Battle School (CBS) is situated at Sarol where troops under 16 Corps gets day and night advance training and somebody might have seen soldiers on night training and informed the police. |
