Sonali's Bhajan CD 'Nachna Chamunda Maa De Naal' released

Jammu, Nov 17: Commandant JKAP 7th Bn, SSP, Mohan Lal and Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today released a Bhajan CD "Nachna Chamunda Maa De Naal Ajj Mera Jee Karda" sung by daughter of the soil and a popular singer of J&K, Sonali Dogra.
Produced by Sushma Rajput, MD, CMD Production with bhajan written by Shivani Tak, directed by Sahil Lucky, edited and choreographed by Akash Dogra, the Bhajan CD highlights the ancient temple of Mata Chamunda situated in remote belt of Udhampur district.
On the occasion, SSP, Mohan Lal and Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal distributed prizes among the youth who acted and danced in the Bhajan CD. They included Tarun Sharma, Raju Balotra, Raju Singer, Dharun Kesar, Deepak Kumar, Ikesh Sharma, Anil Sharma, Sonam Simran Chouhan, Siksha Bhat, Prachi Bhau, Preeti and Nisha Mehra.
In his address, SSP, Mohan Lal congratulated CMD Production, Singer Sonali Dogra and other artists for making all efforts to preserve the Dogra culture. He also appealed to all present in the programme to continue to encourage the younger generation participate in such events.
While stressed on preserving regional languages and called for collective efforts to promote Dogri language through art and literature and fold songs and Bhajans, Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal complimented the singer of the Audio and Video CD Sonali Dogra besides musicians and composer on the release of her Bhajan CD and blessed for her bright future in the field of music.
He appreciated the efforts of the organizers and hoped this would go in long way to promote local talent of the region.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal also appealed to the state Government headed by Governor Satya Pal Malik for making all out efforts to promote such type of budding artists of the State to national and international competitions. There must a comprehensive policy for young talented artists of the state so that their talent could be showcased in all over the country as well as world over.
In her brief address, Sonali Dogra informed that she had also performed in Voice of Punjab (PTC), Indian Idol, Voice of India (Star Plus), All India Devotional Song competition at Katra. She stood first in all the competitions and brought laurels for the State. She further informed that she also took part in Punjabi World Wide movie 'the blood street' as leading singer and would be performing abroad, next month.
