JAMMU, Nov 17: Angad Singh of KC International School, Uday Narayan Sharma and Prageet Kour from Banyan International School excelled in recently concluded State Roller Skating Competition-2018 organised by J&K Roller Skating Association (JKRSA) here at Shiva Roller Skating Institute Peer-Kho.
Angad won two gold medals and one silver in various speed events under quads category and Uday bagged one gold and a silver while Prageet bagged two bronze medals in quads races.
Others who won medals include Surya Bhasker Sharma three bronze medals, Tamana Saini two silver, Samukhi one bronze, Lakshya Veer Singh two silver and one bronze, Jhanvi two gold and one silver, Anenasyaa Sharma one gold medal, Vihan Gupta two silver medals, Reyansh two gold medals, Vedant Jamwal two gold medals, Aanandita.
one gold and one silver, and Aarchisha one bronze medal in various age group categories of quads and inline skating events. Besides, Abhinav Bakshi and Pritiksha Mahajan also performed well in their respective race categories.
These prize winning skaters were trained by Skating Coach Sudesh Kumar.
At the prize distribution ceremony, President of the Association, G.S Khurmi congratulated the winners and distributed the medals among them in the presence of Senior Members of Association Seema Kharyal, Roshan Gupta and Jatender Sharma. |
