Nehru yuva kendra Sangathan organizes district level declamation contest

Jammu, Nov 18: Today, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan organized district level declamation contest under the ministry of youth affairs and sports,Govt. of india. The district level declamation contest organized at youth hostel, Nagrota in which 14 contestents participated from different colleges of district Jammu.
The topic of the competition was patriotism and nation building. on the occassion UC digra,retd. KAS was the chief guest and Sh.S S kashyap, director NYKS J&K state under ministry of youth affairs and sports,Govt of india along with District Youth Co-ordinator Jammu, Nissar ahmed were guest of honour.
Soba Ram retd KAS officer, Principal Mohd Haneef, GHS, Amb Nagarota, were the judges for evaluation of performances.
Before start of contest a warm welcome was given to dignitries by offering them bunch of flowers.
On the occasion S S kashyap,director NYKS, J&K state under ministry of youth affairs gave details over the topic and cleared the objectivity. He also eloborated the introduction about NYKS activities in J&K state and 15 days interstate youth exchange programme. Some important instructions were given to participants. Out of total 14 participants 3 were the winners The first prize was secured by Shivika Singh Thakur, Meanwhile Hamid Hashmi secured the 2nd prize, and Ropali secured the third prize.
Speaking on the occassion, state director appreciated the courage of all the participants and requsted them to carry on spirit of Patriotism. He said that the youth should channlise their power in nation building and should away from drugs and bad evils.
The chief guest also delivered sound message to youth and greeted with good wishes to the youngsters. Nissar Ahmed Bhatt ,DYC, Jammu presented vote of thanks.The other who were present in the programme were priyanka,rampaul dogra,ambica majotra with 120 voulunteers in the hall. Priya thakur anchored the event.
