Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Nov 18: As they say politics makes strange bed fellows, the BJP and Congress have joined hands for just sharing power in MC Ramban taking on stake their political interests on national as well as state level by going away from their agenda and core issues.
Pertinent to here mention that BJP and Congress had secured each two seats whereas two seats was bagged by the independent candidates in recent held local body elections.
In a dramatic turn after notification for election of President and vice- President for MC Ramban, BJP has supported to an independent candidate Amit Bharti who was expelled by the BJP from District president of BJP youth wing (Bharatiya Yuva Morcha) for his anti party leader activities.
While congress had nominated to Raj Kumar Sharma an independent elected candidate for the post of President MC Ramban.
On the day of voting congress and BJP joined hands for just enjoying power by defying party lines.
Total six members caste their votes because one seat has lying vacant due to the death of BJP candidate.
Sunita Devi who was the candidate for the position of vice- president from BJP secure only her one vote whereas Khalid Wani candidate of congress party secured rest of five votes including BJP members' votes. Similarly Amit Bharti Secured five votes including Congress's two votes.
Sunita Devi expressed her displeasure over the BJP members and other leaders for cheating her besides plotting against her. She was looking in trauma after facing unexpected treatment from her party BJP side despite contributing for BJP being a loyal and sincere party worker.
