| All J&K Retired Police Personnel Forum stages protest | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Nov 20: All Jammu and Kashmir Retired Police Personnel Forum today staged strong protest demonstration against the government for their pending demands here today at Block Ground.
A large number of retired police personnel assembled at Block Ground under the leadership of Raghubir Singh.
They raised slogans against the state government alleging that the demands of the retired police personnel are continuously getting ignored adding that the government is not willing to listen their pleas.
The protesters also said that the J&K retired police personnel have been subjected to pay anomaly vide Order No. 229-F 2014, Dated 17- 10-2014. The effect is being prospectively which means from the date of order whereas the effect should have been given from the year 1996 when the pay commission was implemented throughout the state but only the police department was left.
They said that some of the retired police personnel have even expired; surviving strugglers should get the benefit and enhancement of Medical Allowances from Rs 300 to Rs 3000, Cashless Health Care Policy be provided to the police personnel on the pattern of army and other para military forces besides raising other demands. |
