GCW Parade celebrates 65th foundation day

Jammu, Nov 28: GCW Parade today celebrated its 65th foundation day with great pomp and show. The show started with lamp lighting. The Principal, Dean Students welfare, along with senior faculty members light the lamp. The function started with a digital PowerPoint Presentation given by Marvi singh jamwal representing the history and present development of GCW Parade. Cultural items were presented by kishika Sharma, Manpreet kour, Chahat Jathyar, Laakshi Sharma, Palwasha, Himani kotwal. A special stand up comedy act was prepared by Vinay. Prashant and Madhavi gave a treat to the audience by their musical performance. The show was hosted by Mehpara Mughal and Namita Sharma who held the crowd throughout the show.
The college administration had organised a felicitation ceremony for the hardworking and meritorious passed out students. The students were :- Shivata Saproo, Sobia wani, Sonali Dogra, Sonali pandita, Shivali Dogra, Sangpriya Sharma, Hansja Sharma, Jasmina Chib, Juhi Charak, Meenakshi Bhagat, Tsering Angmo, Shashi, Sumaya Kausar, Jaspreet, Mutqeen Khan, Ananya Sharma, Vandana Sharma, Rishika Bakshi, Shivani Bhagat.
The show ended with the words of wisdom by the Principal GCW Parade Prof. (Dr.) Hemla Aggarwal who while addressing the students congratulated the felicitated students and encouraged the current students to follow their dreams and work hard for it.
