Dilapidated Battel Ballian road inconveniences people

Udhampur, Nov 28: With pits, water-logging at almost everywhere, the Battel Ballian road near Indra memorial school higher secondary here is in dilapidated condition and authorities seem in no mood to take up the repair work.
Locals said potholes spoil their clothes. "Many a time, the potholes spoil the uniform of school going children," they said.
A popular Higher Secondary School also is on this road where children reach via this bad road and everyday they have their clothes spoiled.
"It is very tough for us to reach school safely because of this bad road," Asha of the Higher Secondary School said.
Badri-a driver plying his mini-bus via this road said that the vehicle life is reduced due to such bad roads and it affects the profits of owners and also to the drivers and cleaners working on such vehicles.
The affected people also complained that due to this bad road they never reach their destination in time and get reprimanded by the bosses in their offices.
The public at large has appealed the Governor Malik to intervene.
