Jammu, Nov 28: In continuation to Operation 'Sanjeevani' launched by District Police Jammu against Drug Mafia and continuous efforts of Sub Division RS Pura to eradicate menace of Narcotic Drugs, Bishnah police today claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered heroin from his possession.
Police spokesman said that today on naka checking at Mehmoodpur naka, one person namely Rakesh Kumar alias Sonu Baba of Village Seora, Bishnah who tried to flee on seeing police Cops was apprehended and during his personal search about 01.2 gm Heroin like substance (Chitta) was recovered and there after he was arrested on spot.
In this connection a case FIR 205/2018 under section 8/21/22/NDPS Act has been registered in Bishnah police station. |
