Srinagar, Nov 28: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said that treating J&K bank as a public sector undertaking will lead to further alienation in Jammu and Kashmir. Taking to Twitter, Mehbooba said that she spoke to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and told him that the decision will lead to further alienation.
"Spoke with @arunjaitley ji about the intrusive and regressive move to declare J&K Bank as a PSU. This decision will add to the woes of the state and alienate them further. The FinMin assured that the government will reexamine the matter," she said. |
