Mendhar, Nov 29: The people of Pathanateer area today staged protest against the PHE authorities for their failure to restore the snapped water supply in Pathanateer villages and adjoining hamlets for the last one month.
The villagers from Pathanateer and adjoining areas today staged protest demonstration against the PHE authorities at Pathanateer. They alleged that pumping station has been found locked for the past many weeks. It was also alleged by concerned local staff that pumps are not working. The protesters said that the matter was brought to the notice of concerned JE and supervisor but water supply could not be restored. The protesters threatened to lock PHE officials at Mendhar sub division office if the water supply would not be restored. |
