5 days basic civil defence training camp organized

JAMMU, Nov 30: Five days Basic Civil Defence training camp concluded at Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shri Ranbir Campus Kot Bhalwal Jammu which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the guidance of VK Singh, IPS, DGP, Commandant General, Homeguard / Civil Defence and SDRF J&K, Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, ADGP, HG / CD & SDRF J&K and under the supervision of Dy.SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. Ranjit Kanwar, SSP, Incharge DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu was Chief Guest of the Valedictory function. While speaking on the occasion Ranjit Kanwar, SSP, Chief Guest highlighted the role of Civil Defence organization and delivered a valuable lecture on the topic of Disaster Management to the trainees.
On the occasion Dy.SP Anita Pawar also briefed the trainees with regard to preparedness of disaster Management and importance of First Aid, Fire Fighting, Do's and Don'ts during earthquake and disaster management.
Basu Dev, Principal of the Institute highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the Sh. Ranjit Kanwar, SSP, Chief Guest, Dy.SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and staff of Civil Defence for organized such training camp. In the training Camp 200 Students/staff members were undergone the training.
