Results of poster making competition declared

JAMMU, Nov 30: The results of the Poster Making Competition on the theme of 'Eat Right India' held at Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in which 60 students of different institutions participated in three categories.
The painting competition was a part of in- transit Swasth Bharat Yatra at Jammu. The whole function was led by Dr. Parvesh Kumar, Asst. Commissioner, Food Safety, Jammu Municipal Limits. Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) collaborated the department to conduct the Poster- making competition.
The Jury comprising of the two experts namely Sh. T S Batra, Former Principal Institute of Music & Fine Arts, Jammu and Sh. O P Sharma, Director JKCCA adjudged the works of art, created by the students of various institutions/ colleges and recommended the following prizes: Amateurs' Group: 1st Prize of Rs. 1500/- : Diksha, GCW, Parade, 2nd Prize of Rs. 1000/- : Meemansa, GCW, Gandhi Nagar, 3rd Prize of Rs. 700/- : Muskan Rajput, GCW, Parade, Jammu and Certificate of Merit: Shilpa Attri, GCW, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Raksha Gurung, University of Jammu and Ananya Bilawar, GCW, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Seniors' Group: 1st Prize of Rs. 1200/- : Navneet Kour, New National Hr. Sec. School, Meeran Sahib, Jammu, 2nd Prize of Rs. 700/- : Sakshi Sharma, K V No. 1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Consolation Prize of Rs. 700/- : New National Hr. Sec. School, Meeran Sahib, Jammu, Consolation Prizes of Rs. 500/- each to Disha Raina and Anvi Choudhry, K V No. 1, Jammu, Certificate of Merit to Pehu Gupta, R M Public School, Jammu, Arun Kumar, New Environment School, Jammu and Palvi Thakur, R M Public School, Jammu. Sub- Seniors' Group: 1st Prize of Rs. 900/- : Arushi Jasrotia, R M Public School, Jammu, 2nd Prize of Rs. 700/- : Sukriti Uppal, R M Public School, Jammu, Consolation Prizes of Rs. 500/- each: Soumiya Pathak, Sciatica International School, Jammu, Prabhjot Singh, New National High School, Jammu and Vanshika Dhiman, K M Public School, Jammu.
