Overwhelming response to Panchayat, ULB polls a clear referendum in favour of India: Analysts
11/30/2018 10:49:41 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 30: The high vote percentage in Panchayat and Local Body elections in the state is a referendum against the separatist and secessionist movement.
This has also silenced the protagonists of so-called azadi in Kashmir or its merger with Pakistan.
Over 70 percent pilling in ULB and Panchayat elections is totally a referendum in favour of India and rejection of so-called azadi or merger with Pakistan as claimed by separatists and Hurriyat leaders who are responsible for killing of thousands of people during last three decades on the name of so-called Jehad.
Though separatists and terrorists force people to come to streets to indulge in stone pelting on forces and police but the huge participation by people in election is a testimony to the fact that even the people in Kashmir are not with separatists and terrorists working at the behest of Pakistan.
This also shows that people of State are totally in favour of States total merger with India and want to contribute fully in strengthening democratic process in the country as well as State.
The overwhelming response shown by the people in the elections has also strengthened Indian resolve to unmask the forces within country and outside nation who are hell bent to disintegrate the nation?
According to political Analysts India should take a full advantage of people's participation in the elections and ask Pakistan to keep its hands off Kashmir.
It should also make the people's overwhelming mandate as a power in its hands to take on the Separatist and crush their movement against separatists to crush them once for all.
Analysts said that even India can silence the public opinion abroad favouring settlement of Kashmir issue with Pakistan and make it clear that Kashmir is an integral part of India like other states.
