Cong leader Jugal Kishore felicitates newly elected Sarpanchs, Panchs of Reasi

REASI, Dec 5: A meeting was held in Panjar Panchayat of Moungri Block of Reasi Constituency under the leadership of senior Congress leader and ex-Minister Jugal Kishore Sharma to honour the newly elected Panchs and Sarpanchs .
While addressing the newly elected Panchs and Sarpanches,
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that people wanted change and an end to the wait of their long pending development related issues adding that it will be possible to a larger extent with the election of new Panchs and Sarpanchs as they will be easily accessible to the general public of far flung rural areas.
He exhorted upon elected Sarpanchs and Panchs to work hard for the development of their respective areas and make themselves easily available to the people and discuss the developmental and basic amenities issues with them for speedy and well planned works.
Jugal Kishore lambasted the erstwhile BJP MLA for his attitude towards the basic problems of the people particularly Moungri Block. During BJP regime the discrimination with Jammu region crossed all limits whether it may be recruitment or disbursement of developmental funds.
Jugal Kishore also asked all Sarpanchs and Panchs to gear up for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections and make people aware to vote for Congress candidates.
All newly elected Panchs and Sarpanchs thanked Jugal Kishore for always raising their issues before higher authorities.
Sarpanches from different Panchayats told senior Congress leader that BJP didn't do anything for their area whether it is road facility, school upgradation which hasn't been done for the last 10 years, no new Water Supply Schemes and no employment etc .
People present in the meeting were ex-MLA Chenani KC Bhagat, senior Congress leader Sardari Lal Dubey, Block President Moungri Hans Raj, Block President Krimchi Raj Sharma, Block President Pancheri Rasal Singh, Congress Sewa Dal State Chief Rajesh Sadhotra, Bhagat Biradari District President Surinder Bhagat, Block President Reasi Dev Raj Bhagat, Corporator from Reasi Amit Sharma and Bishan Magotra.
Sarpanch Panjar Koshal Kumar, Sarpanch Lower Meer Laxman Dass, Sarpanch Damnote Hans Raj, Sarpanch Kalsote Sabita Devi Kalsote, Sarpanch Moungri Kailash Dogra, Sarpanch Mali Makhna Devi Mali and more than 50 Panchs of different Panchayats attended the meeting.
