Inquiry ordered into alleged fake state subject case

JAMMU, Jan 2: In a complaint filed in the office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu regarding acquiring of alleged fake State Subjects of Gourav Ojha, Sourav Ojha (Sons of Lt. Ved Parkash), Nirmal Sharma (W/o Lt. Ved parkash), Neha Sharma and Naina Ojha (daughters of Lt. Ved Parkash) all residents of ward No. 9, Thuddi Jawahar Nagar Rajouri for allegedly holding and acquiring various moveable and immovable properties in the State without holding any valid PRC/State Subject, the Divisional Commissioner Jammu has directed the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri to hold inquiry into the matter.
In the complaint it was alleged that members of Ojha family who are residents of Ward No. 6 of Jawahar Nagar Rajouri have got State subjects fraudulently, which was established by filing an RTI with the concerned department. In response to an RTI filed, a reply was given by The Regional Director Survey and Land Records, Jammu under No. RDSLR/J/RTI/18/581-82 dated; 19-07-2018 which states that the State Subject issued in favour of Ved Parkash S/o Brahm Dev has not been traced from the bag of that year and month.
In another RTI filed by the applicant in the office of the Tehsildar Rajouri to establish the authenticity of the State Subjects issued to the members of Ojha family, the office of the Tehsildar Rajouri vide his RTI reply made some startling disclosures. In RTI reply No. 120-23-M Dated 03-05-18, Tehsildar Rajouri revealed that no PRC have been issued by this office in favour of Ved Parkash Ojha S/o B.D. Ojha, Sourav Ojha S/o Ved Parkash Ojha, Gourav Ojha S/o Ved Parkash Ojha, Neha Ojha D/o Ved Parkash Ojha, Naina Ojha D/o Ved Parkash Ojha and Sparsh Ojha S/o Ved Parkash Ojha, all the family members of Ojha family. The complainant has also filed a complaint in this regard with the Crime Branch Jammu.
