JAMMU, Jan 12: To celebrate the 156th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day and to promote the traditional culture of J&K, the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented its 244th Saturday series musical play "Sab Ke Swami" in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production here today at Open Air Theatre Durga Bhawan, Janipur. This play was written, produced and directed by M L Dogra. The programme was inaugurated by J K Koul (Bezan), renowned director, producer films and chief patron of J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society. The guests of honour were J K Raina, freelancer Producer, Director Films, Dr Anju Kumari Dogra, Directorate of Health J&K Government, Dr Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department. The programme commenced with songs "Ek Tara Bole Oh Ranjana Khel Kheli -Khilge Ass", "Prabhu Mere Avgun Chit Na Dharo"," Sab Key Swami Ji Hain Pyare Swami Ji Hain" and "Sab Ke Deen Dyal " were presented to aware the masses. The music was composed by MC Kotwal, General Sectary BLSKS and assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest threw light on the life of Swami Vivekananda, known in his pre-monastic life as Narendranath Datta. The musical play presented on the occasion reveals the early childhood of Swami Vivekananda and, his schooling and then as a college student. |
