Vijaypur, Jan 17: An impressive `Nagar- Kirtan' was taken out by the members of Sikh community on the eve of Gurpurab in Khanpur sector Ramgarh in District Samba here today.
The Nagar Kirtan was organized by Gurdeep Singh secretary Gurdwara Parbandak Committee Vijaypur and Nagar Kirtan started from village Khanpur sector Ramgarh and after passing through Gudwal, Ramgarh road and Vijaypur, a large number of people of Sikh community including children and religious preachers also attended this grand Shobha Yatra.
The Nagar Kitran was organized in connection with the Parkash Utsav of 10th Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Many sikh youth were seen displaying their skills of martial art with swords, spear and other weapons during Shobha yatra. |
