Rajouri, Jan 17: On the final day of the three day long awareness campaign Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India organized a day long programme on Swachhta Action Plan (SAP) at Government Industrial Institute, Kalakote. The aim of the programme was to acquaint masses about various aspects and provisions of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) for general public and youth of the Institute in particular. A series of IEC activities were included in the programme viz. Shramdaan (Cleanliness Drive), Presentation of Skits and Mimes, Expert lectures by Resource persons, Open Quiz Contest, Seminar etc. in the presence of Javed Ahmad Principal Govt. ITI Kalakote, Rohit Sharma ICDS Department Kalakote, Mohd. Amin, BDO office kalakote, Arjun Singh Municipality Committee Kalakote, Ram Lal, Performer, ROB, Jammu and other staff members of ITI Kalakote and Supervisors of ICDS Kalakote. A galaxy of speakers spoke on the occasion which included Teachers, Students and Experts. Resource persons from Municipality Kalakote and BDO office Kalakote delivered key note addresses on the implementation of Swachh Bharata Mission, Swachhta Action plan and provided elaborated information about the rights and duties of every citizen to achieve the desired goals of SBM and SAP. |
