STAP organizes campaign on "beti bachao beti padao"

JAMMU, Jan 29: To promote the traditional Duggar Rich Culture of J&K, Sangam Tru Art Production (STAP) of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan organized fortnight special campaign on "Beti Bachao Beti Padao".
The event in close coordination with Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Govt. of India, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Govt. of J&K, Education Department J&K in Jammu District of J&K State at Government Higher Secondary School , Paloura Jammu on the theme of "Beti Bachao Beti Padao".
The programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Ajay Sehgal, Vice Principal , Government Higher Secondary School, Paloura And Satish Kumar, Rohini Sharma, Lecturer were Guest of Honors and School Childrens, Anganwadi workers and general public witness the programe which highly appreciated by the audience.
Further the above the artiste of STAP will also present 7 programe at Kathua and Poonch district during the campaign. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest lauding the role of Regional Outreach Bureau and Sangam Tru Art Production and underlined the importance of staging such awareness programs on the theme and also urged the artists/cultural organizations to contribute in enriching awareness of the cultural heritage of the country and inspiring the younger generation to follow the footprints of their elders in preserving the composite culture of the Nation.
Earlier, STAP also presented programe at CDPO Office , Lower Roop Nagar on the theme of "Beti Bachao Beti Padao" which was inaugurated by Akanksha Kalsotra, Child Dev. Project officer Jammu and all the staff and anganwadi workers were present on the occasion. The programs were presented under the overall direction of Neha Jalali, Deputy Director, ROB and powered by Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Govt. of India.
The songs and skits were written by M.L.Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) . The song sung by the artists of Stap were " Baiman Lok kase Diya mar De", "Beti Bachao Beti Padao" , " Ladli Betiyan Hai Humari Ladi Betiyan", , "Dhiyan Gi Na Marro", "Sun -Sun Saheli Meri Sun, Paruhn Likhu yehi Meri Dhun" , " Kya Pier Kahun Apne mann Ki" and Skits " Nai Chetna" was also presented on the theme and the music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS.
