Reasi, Jan 29: District Level Science Quiz competition held at District Institute of Education and Trainings Reasi, in which several teams drawn from the different High and Higher Secondary schools participated, the event was inaugurated by the Head of the Department Darshana Kumari, who in her inaugural speech told that DIET provides plateform for the students to prepare them for the competition by taking part in such programmes.
The house was run by Sr. Lecturers Virender Dutta and Kashmir Singh. The registration was done by Pooja Puri. Lecturer Neeraj Bala and Dr. Virender Singh were the time-keepers whereas the Score was recorded by Raj Kumar and Ruksar. Scorers were the team comprise of Mrinal Gourav, Himadri Sharma and Saima Akhter from Government Higher Secondary School Reasi bagged first prize, a team consist of Nitish Sharma, Amit Sharma and Abhi Shjarma.
from Government Higher Secondary School Laiter fetched the Second and the third prize was won by the students of Govt. Girls High School Pouni, namely Gursimar Kour,Anamika Abrol and Ishika Sharma.
Principal, District Institute of Education and Trainings,Reasi Mohammad Ashraf Rather in his concluding speech throw light on the importance of such competitions and said that objective type knowledge is as important as subjective and asked the students to participate in all the student welfare programmes organised by the DIET.
