State level science exhibition, project competition organised

Jammu, Jan 29: The state level inspire award science exhibition and project competition was organized here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar today. The INSPIRE Award MANAK Scheme initiated by Government of India, Department of Science and technology in collaboration with National innovation foundation inspires the students across the country to come with the ideas that are original, novel and are relevant to the present society. The models that were adjudged best at the district level had an opportunity to be displayed at the state level exhibition and project competition.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest, Secretary School education Ajit Kumar Sahu on Tuesday morning. Dr. Anuradha Gupta, Director School Education, Dr.Arun Manhas, State project Director Samagra Shiksha were the guests of honour and Mahesh Chander Tanna, Financial advisor was the special guest on the occasion. J.K Sudan, joint Director trainings State institute of education Jammu welcomed the dignitaries and appreciated the participants for their zeal to participate in such events. He reiterated that children should identify problems, think about possible solutions and then develop those solutions into concrete realities.
Certificates of participation were presented to all those students who participated in the event by the field advisors Mohinder Singh, Surinder Kumar and Kulwant Kour.
