| Senior Congress leaders asks party workers to pull up socks, strengthen party | | |  Early Times Report
BILLAWAR, Jan 29: Former Ministers and senior congress leaders Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma and Sham Lal Sharma today urged the party men and workers here to make good use of the present political situation in J&K and urged them to strengthen the party further at booth, halqa and block levels in the state.
Addressing a function they called upon young Congress workers to ensure big victory for the congress candidates in the forthcoming elections and said the success of any party depends on its cadre and youth power and laid stress on strengthening the party.
Dr Sharma instructed the cadre to take Congress ideologies and principles to the people and expose the lies and wrong policies of BJP among the people. He also hit out at the central government for failing to come upto the expectations of the people in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that Centre has miserably filed people of Jammu and Kashmir on all counts. The dual standards and political exploitation on the part of BJP stand exposed, the meeting asserted.
Sham Lal Sharma expressed confidence that Congress party will counter the falsehood and propaganda by BJP-RSS in the forthcoming elections and said the Saffron party is hell bent upon to divide people for electoral gains, which will be defeated by Congress Party. |
