| Absconder accused of bestiality arrested | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Feb 5: Reasi today claimed to have arrested a man who was absconding after FIR for bestiality registered against him at Reasi police station.
Police spokesman said that today a notorious criminal namely Sandeep alias Phalla of Mari was arrested from an undisclosed location where he was hiding after committing an offence of bestiality with a female calf.
The person was evading his arrest from past one week and had slipped out of Police cordon 04 times.
Police spokesman further said that today, after getting information regarding the accused person, the Police party led by Inspector Ashwani Sharma SHO-Reasi immediately swung into action along with his team and caught him after putting in strenuous efforts. It is pertinent to mention that a case under FIR No. 15/2019 under section 377 of RPC was registered against him 26th of January of 2019 in Police Station Reasi.
The operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Dr. Nikhil Gogna-DySP Hqrs. Reasi, Shiv Kumar Chouhan-Addl. SP Reasi and overall supervision of the SSP Reasi-Nisha Nathyal.
