Jammu, Feb 5: Padamshree ND Jamwal, Yashpaul Nirmal and Kewal Kumar Kewal were honoured for their remarkable literary contributions in the Dogri language while Sanjeev Sharma was honoured for his remarkable contributions in the Khelo India Khelo.
The award giving ceremony was organized by the Government Higher Secondary School, Jourian and Dogri Bhasha Academy. The function was presided over by the Principal Govt. Higher Secondary School, Jourian.
NP Singh, principal welcomed the dignitaries and esteemed guests. Ajay Sharma presented a paper on the life and contribution of ND Jamwal, while Dr. Kamini presented paper on the life and contribution of Yashpaul Nirmal and Roshan Bral Roshan presented a paper on the
life and contribution of Kewal Kumar Kewal and Sanjeev Sharma. Padamshree ND Jamwal urged the students to come up with zeal and enthusiasm and work honestly in their respective fields. Yashpaul Nirmal spoke on the importance and benefits of mother tongue and urged
the students to work for their mother tongue honestly.
Kewal Kumar Kewal recited his poetry based on Stair and also asked the students to work for Dogri language. Sanjeev Sharma asked the students to take part in games.
Dr. Sudarshan Khajuria presented the vote of thanks.Roshan Bral Roshan, president Dogri Bhasha Academy conducted the program very ably. The program was highly appreciated by the audience, students, teachers and other staff members of the School. |
