Despite all government support BJP's rally failed to beat Lal Singh May 20 'Swabhiman Rally'

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 5: After State BJP's -'government supported' rally on February 3 which was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, the residents of Jammu region have started comparing Sunday's gathering with Lal Singh's 'Swabhiman Rally' held on May 20, 2018. People have come to the conclusion that enthusiasm and gathering in Lal Singh's rally was bigger than J&K BJP's 'show of strength' on Sunday.
People, who have attended both the historic rallies of recent times in this belt, said that Lal Singh's rally was more impressive in the sense that Singh had travelled on foot nearly 45 kilometers amid scorching heat with temperature hovering between 43 to 45 degree C. They said that gathering in both the rallies was almost same.
Interestingly Lal Singh had organized the rally on its own without any help from any government agency. He mobilized people and resources with the help of his supporters. Even the state government and administration at that time had shamelessly created all hurdles for the rally. BJP leaders had given directions to their workers not to attend the rally but despite all odds, Lal Singh had managed more crowd as compare to Prime Minister's Sunday rally.
BJP's rally on Sunday was supported by the government. Two Lok Sabha members, including one Union Minister, one Rajya Sabha member, more than two dozens of MLAs, a dozen MLCs, former ministers, chairpersons of municipal committees and many leaders were involved in February 3 rally but state BJP has failed to beat Lal Singh May 20 rally.
"The BJPs bravado to have its own chief minister from Jammu fell flat twice, first by stitching alliance with 28-member PDP in 2015 and later while unsuccessfully attempting to form the government by surrendering before a party with two MLAs from North Kashmir", Omar Abdullah had said in his earlier statement.
All such assertions as per the reports seem to have dawned upon the BJP which now has decided to give Lone wide berth and maintain as much distance from his as possible.
