Udhampur, Feb 7: Educational Tour of Govt. Degree College Udhampur comprising of both girls and boys trip was flagged off today from the premises of Degree College Udhampur. The tour was flagged off by Prof(Dr). Zahoor Ahmed Chatt, Director Colleges, Principal of the College Prof(Dr). Nutan Kumar Resutra. There are 118 students in the Tour party accompanied by Prof. Hans Raj Sharma, Dr. Aran Kumar, Prof. Sanjay Kumar, Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur, Dr. Rippy Bawa (teaching staff), Chander Mohan Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Rajneesh Mahajan, Sanjeet Singh, Radhey Sham and Gafoor Ahmed (non-teaching staff). The students will visit Delhi, Mumbai, Kanyakumari, Goa. While interacting with students going on tour the Director Colleges said that they are not only going on Educational tour as students of Govt. Degree College Udhampur merely but as ambassadors of our state carrying the value of our cultural heritage and moral values to the other states of India. He expressed his satisfaction and lauded the college administration and faculty for providing an ambience of academic atmosphere of par excellence to the students of Udhampur District. He also passed on certain instructions and words of wisdom to the students to make their educational tour memorable. Earlier, in the beginning of the interaction session, Prof.(Dr.) Nutan Kr. Resutra Principal of the college welcomed the chief guest of the occasion and revealed his future plans for the development and progression of the institution to him. |
