Jammu, Feb 7: Sukhdev Seva Trust (SST), Jammu Lions Blood Bonors (JLBD), NSS members organised a blood donation camp at MAM College .SSP head Quarters RK Kotwal was the chief guest on the occasion and Dr. Meenu HOD Blood Department GMC Jammu and NSS Coordinator of MAM college Prof Karan Singh were also present. While addressing the students, SSP head Quarters RK Kotwal asserts that campuses are the nurseries of creating citizens that are committed for the nation as well as the society . He said that blood donation is a most precious gift one must give for those who are in dire need of it. He also said that donating blood is a greatest service to the humanity. He further appreciates the SST,JLBD's initiative of organising the camp and appeals the students to donate bloods. Dr. Meenu HOD Blood Department GMC and NSS Coordinator of MAM college Prof Karan Singh also motivated the students and teachers to donate blood . Finally the programme concluded and more than 70 students donated blood under the guidance of SST. Many senior SST, JLBD activists who also donated their blood on this occasion included Munish Sharma, Istaq Naiq, Manmohan Singh, Rishikesh Rana, Sahil Sharma, Ajay, Daleep, Sumit, Karan, Raj, Abhishek, Pulkit and others.
