"Spell Wizard Competition" winners felicitated

Jammu, Feb 7: Sumit Kumar & Shukrana from Government High School, Digiana stood first, Koshika Pandita & Sunil Pandita from Government Middle School Jagti Camp stood second & Manjeet & Rahul Sahoo from Government Model Middle School, Satwari stood third in Spell Wizard competition held at Government Girls High School, Gandhi Nagar. The competition was organized by Bharti Foundation with an aim to enhance the logical thinking of the students and help them develop their linguistic skills. The competition was commenced on 4th December 2018 and it registered the participation of over 1800 students from 94 schools out of which 18 students from 9 schools made their way to the district level. The winners were felicitated by the Chief Guest Rajiv Kumar Khajuria, Personal Officer, Directorate of School Education Jammu. The event was graced by the presence of worthy Guests of Honour Roshan Lal, Principal DIET, Jammu, Swarn Singh District Education Planning Officer, Department of School Education Jammu & other officials from Education Department. Speaking on the occasion Rajiv Kumar Khajuria applauded the efforts of Bharti Foundation to bring the positive changes in the overall schooling experience. He also acknowledged that the competitions like Spell Wizard are the source of learning for the children and this fun filled experience perfectly fits into the holistic education approach.
