Kathua, Feb 9: 11th District Speedball Championship concluded today at S.K Farm district Kathua. About 300 students participated in the championship organised by J&K Sports Speedball Association.
The chief guest of the occasion was Lal Singh, President DSS, special guest of honour was Pushpinder Singh Charak, Youth Leader DSS. Different school participated including Delhi public School, Mount Litera Zee School, International Delhi Public School, Jammu Sanskriti School, D.A.V Collegiate School, Kartar Public School, Indian public school, Minerva public School Barnoti and Kathua Branch S.D Tara Puri High School, Dogra Hr. Secondary School. The champion of the year in the boys' and girl' category was Maiyank Mahajan of Minerva public school and Muskan choudhary of Delhi public school.
The officials of championship were Ankit Sharma, Aditya Aithmia, Sandeep Sharma, Rahul Tuli, Parkash Singh, Mitali Sharma, Baljeet Kour. The association appreciated the effort of the coach Sahil Janjua , Head of District Kathua.
