Dead body of missing 7th class student found

Kishtwar, Feb 9: In a tragic incident in remote Drubeel village of Kishtwar District, the rescuers manage to recover the dead body of missing youth namely Karan Singh son Ashok Kumar resident of Drubeel Kishtwar, a student of class 7th from under the snow triggered due to avalanche.
It is pertinent to mention here that the said boy went missing from Thursday night from a marriage function and probably the boy while returning home might have came under the influence of avalanche and when news of his missing spread in the village, the locals start searching in the avalanche bound area and while digging the snow where the avalanche was hit, suddenly the dead body of the said boy found buried under snow and was recovered from the spot. Later the matter was also brought into the notice of Police who registered the case and started its investigation.
Meanwhile JKPCC Vice President, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori expressed profound grief and sorrow over the death of 12 year-old Karan Singh and conveyed his deepest condolence & sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace & strength to the departed soul. He described the loss of live as very unfortunate, saying that he has no words to express grief. He also urged Governor Satya Pal Malik to release Rs.10 lakhs as compensation in favor of family members of Karan Singh.
