HC XI beat Secretariat XI by 7 wkts in Friendly tie

JAMMU, Feb 10: High Court (HC) XI today defeated Secretariat XI comfortably by seven wickets in a friendly cricket match played at University of Jammu (JU) grounds, here today. Batting first, after winning the toss, Secretariat XI made 160 runs losing all their wickets. Tshseen remained top scorer with 30-ball 42 runs while Mohsin contributed 30 runs off 29 balls. From High Club, Qasim Dar claimed four wickets while Latif Hussain took three. Anchal Singh bagged to wickets giving away 50 runs in six overs he bowled. In reply, HC XI chased the target of 161 runs for the loss of three wickets. Danish and Latif Hussain played brilliant innings of half centuries to guide the side to victory. While Danish made 43-ball 68 runs, Latif played fine innings of 59 runs off just 29 deliveries.
Tahir took one wicket from Secretariat XI for 60 runs in six overs. HC XI Skipper, Latief Hussain named man of the match.
