Withdraw security to Farooq, Omar, Mehbooba, abrogate Articles 35A, 370: Prof. Hari OM
2/15/2019 11:42:09 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 15: Paying floral tributes to the 44 CRPF martyrs and expressing solidarity with the aggrieved families, Prof. Hari Om, today said that situation in the State of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh has turned very alarming.
He said the Thursday's terror attack in Pulwama on CRPF convoy was the immediate fallout of the weak kneed policies being pursued by the Indian state and the conspiracies being hatched on a daily basis against the Indian Nation by ex-CMs like Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdllah and Mehbooba Mufti and other frontline operatives of Pakistan in Kashmir, including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Gilani, Yasin Malik, Saiffuddin Soz and Gulam Ahmed Mir.
"All these separatists and semi-separatists must be put behind bars," said Prof Hari Om, adding that New Delhi must refrain from terming Abdullahs and Mufti "mainstream" leaders. "They are dangerous than Geelanis," he further said.
Prof. Hari Om said that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi really wished to defeat Jihad in Kashmir, he has to withdraw security cover to all these separatists and half separatists, abandon the policy of giving financial and employment packages to Kashmir and give a free hand to security forces involved in anti-insurgency operations.
He said that it is a matter of regret that even the present dispensation at the Centre has been pursuing the divisive Nehruvian approach towards the border state while dealing with Jihadis operating in and outside the establishment. "It is this policy which has created a very serious problem in the Kashmir Valley with all those who matter in Kashmir indulging in subversive activities in a most brazen manner and extending the tentacles beyond the valley to create Kashmir like situation in Jammu and Ladakh provinces as well by changing their demographics.
He said Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and others of their ilk in Kashmir have been misusing the official accommodations and the Indian taxpayers' money to promote the Pakistani cause in Kashmir and weakening the Indian position in the sensitive border state of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. "This policy has hurt the national cause in the state to the extent possible and also rendered the nationalist people of Jammu and Ladakh ineffective and unreal for all practical purposes," said Prof Hari Om.
"This break-India and destroy-Jammu and Ladakh policy has to go lock stock and barrel," Prof. Hari Om said, and added that "the time has come to abrogate illegal, unconstitutional and undemocratic Article 35A and temporary Article 370; integrate fully the State of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh into India; and dismantle the Islamic State that the Congress created through these obnoxious Articles".
Prof. Hari omsaid the Nation had hoped that the rise of BJP to power at the Centre and in State would unleash a process of integration of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh State into India by removing from the Statute book all those provisions which converted the state into a Muslim State, but it applied ruthlessly the Nehruvian policy, thus empowering the separatist Abdullahs and Muftis to use the official institutions to subvert the Indian polity.
Prof. Hari Om urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene so that Articles 35A and 370 and Jammu and Kashmir Constitution are abrogated and the Separate flag done away with. He also urged the PM to order J&K Governor to remove from the State and forest lands and GGM Science College, Jammu, all encroachers. "If Jammu province and Ladakh province are to be saved for India, the ongoing demographic invasion has to be defeated. The Govt of India must undereline that India would also collapse if Jammu and Ladakh provinces are allowed to go the Kashmir way as both these regions are strategically very vital for the defence of India".
