| Villagers appeal ex legislator to get resurvey of Hambal-Dedni road | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Mar 15: People of Dedni village have appealed former legislator Shakti Raj Parihar to get the resurvey of Hambal-Dedni road, which was allegedly wrongly done by an engineer.
According to villagers, the length of Hambal to Dedni is nearly 10 kilometres for which amount was sanctioned by former MLA Shakti Raj Parihar. The road was aimed to connect Dedni village or Durga Mata Mandir but as per survey, the road would touch only Sutla village.
"Due to wrong survey, the road will not touch the Dedni village due to a long curve and long alignment shown by engineer" ,the villagers said, and appealed the legislator to get the survey done again.
The villagers said that the called on Junior Engineer and Executive Engineer Doda Ishar Lal but he threatened the people would not allow to do their job then the money would be lapsed and contractor would also stop work.
"Why officials are threatening the villagers when they are himself involved in the malpractices and wrong survey of the road", the villagers said and demanded action against the erring officials. |
