Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 15: Intelligence agencies have prepared a list of government employees working as sympathizers of terrorists and anti-India forces. Actions against these employees are likely to be taken very soon.
Credible sources said that during the last six months, intelligence agencies are keeping a close watch on activities of some government employees who have been directly and indirectly involved in anti-India activities. Agencies are keeping a strict vigil on social media posts of these employees who are under scanners. Majority of these employees are working in the Education Department and are preaching secessionism.
Meanwhile reports said that after radical Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) leaders and workers, government is going to now focus on government employees.
Sources said that a list of around two hundred terrorists and Jama'at sympathisers Government officials, mostly teachers, has been prepared and the " terrorists' sympathisers would be arrested soon".
The report said that government servants, including some senior officials, have been named in the list and will be removed from their positions.
"These are the people who are working covertly. They not only provide financial and logistical support to the terrorists, separatists and other anti-national elements but also propagate separatist thought among youth," sources said.
Sources said that during surveillance it has been found that a large number of government teachers actively were doing subversive activities. They are also trying to propagate this at the place of their work, among colleagues and students.
