Jammu, Mar 18: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production and National College of Computer Education exhibited regular Saturday Series Musical Play Jago Grahak Jago as part of regular feature at open air theatre Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu. T
The Musical play was presented to observe World Consumer Rights Day and to promote the traditional folk cultural of Jammu and Kashmir. The theme of this year for the World Consumers day was "Trusted Smart Products". The programme commenced with welcome song Jag Jag Jag Mada Ghrak Mere jag- Ghode Bachi Sutta Ki Hai Chor Pede Bagg presented by the artists of BLSKS and lighting of traditional lamp by the Chief Guest and Guest of honors.
The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&K Government, Dr.Anupriya Sharma, President Medical Cell J&K were the Guest of Honor.
V.K.Magotra said that it becomes essential that the people are aware of their rights, which broadly include the right to be protected from all kind of hazardous goods and services, right to be fully informed about the performance and quality of all goods and services, right to free choice of goods and services, right to be heard in all decision-making processes related to consumer interests, right to seek redress, whenever consumer rights have been infringed & right to complete consumer education. The musical Play Jago Grahak Jago was written, Produced and Directed by M.L.Dogra (Chairman BLSKS). BLSKS also showcased 7 programme on the same theme in far flung area of Jammu , Samba, Ramnagar, Akhnoor Blocks of Jammu , Udhampur and Samba Districts.
The song sung by the artists are "Jago Ghrak Jago , Apun Jagna Duen Gi Jagana , Hum Sab Ek Hai , Vishwas Ki Rah Par Hum Chle , Inmandari Aur Mehnat Kiya Karo, the music was composed by singer Raju Bajgal .
The singers ,musician ,actors and students of Music and Computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo , K.K.Joshi , M.C.Kotwal , Mr.Raju Bajgal , Dhruv Pandit , Rajni Gupta , Chahat Chadha Mohd. Afroz, Kuldeep Raj , Deevam Jandiyal , Rakshit Sharma, Gouri lal, Renu Saproo, Garu Ram, Sumeeta Bhat , Priya Sharma, Heena Khan, Tilak Raj , Ujwal Sharma, Vansh, Bablu Kumar, Sapna Malhotra, Preeti Parihar, Geetanjali Parihar, Rudra Parihar, Devansh, Azen Ali, Sumeeta Bhat. Rahul Raina presented the en thrilled performance.
