Jammu, Mar 18: In a high voltage drama, a woman allegedly have heated arguments with a girl who happens to be relative of her husband when the girl was addressing media persons outside the Out Patient Department (OPD) of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H), the arguments later turned into thrashing each other.
According to the information a young girl namely Anu Kumari who is also National Player was addressing the media persons levelling allegations Station House officer (SHO) Bishnah-Inspector Ratan Singh.
During interacting with media persons, Anu alleged that SHO Bishnah abet her young sister to commit suicide. She further stated that the SHO Bishnah had violated the provisions of Law and allegedly entered the residence of an inhabitant of Bishnah, Jammu and provoked a girl present in the house to commit suicide by harassing her mentally to the extent that she attempted to kill herself.
In the meanwhile, a woman namely Sonia Kumari appeared there and allegedly tried to stop the girl resulting which a scuffle broke out in presence of police and police allegedly failed to stop them. Woman namely Sonia Kumari who according to police sources is estranged wife of Parvin Kumar, told police that her husband is a policeman and her relation with her husband is estranged for past some time following which she lives in her maternal house. She further alleged that she came to know that a relative of her husband, Surbhi has extra martial affair with her husband following which she complained the matter to Bishnah police.
"Following the complaint, Bishnah police led by SHO Bishnah-Inspector Rattan Singh Rana reached the house of my husband, I also accompanied the police and police spotted the girl there and took my husband to police station," said Sonia Kumari.
Anu Kumari who was addressing media persons also alleged that Sonia Kumari did the whole drama with the help of the SHO and to take revenge from her husband who had filed court case against her she levelled allegations against my sister.
Meanwhile, Anu Kumari who allegedly suffered injuries in the scuffle was shifted to Hospital for treatment and later police has taken cognizance of the matter and after Medico Legal Case (MLC) of Anu Kumari was registered police also taken cognizance has of the matter.
It is pertinent to mention here that parents of the victim lodged compliant with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone seeking suspension of the delinquent officer and initiation of departmental inquiry to render justice to their daughter who allegedly tried to end her life after the alleged harassment by SHO Bishnah.
The complaint lodged with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu-MK Sinha reads that on 08-03-2019 the applicant was staying for a night at the residence of her relative at Sarore, Bishnah District Jammu to see a Doctor for her medical examination on 09-03-2019 and her relatives with whom she was staying were facilitating her medical check-up. The complainant further stated in the complaint that approximately 10 police personnels of Police Station, Bishnah alongwith the estranged wife (Sonia Kumari) of complianant's relative's son (Parveen Kumar) and mother of Sonia Kumari forcibly entered into the house of applicant's relative situated at Bishnah and started beating the complainant and hit her with kicks and blows.
