GAD order violated; DAJ attaches five AEOs in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 18: Despite order of the General Administration Department (GAD) to detach all the attached employees in different departments, the Directorate of Agriculture Jammu (DAJ) has attached five Agriculture Extension Assistants (AEAs) in different laboratories at Jammu.
As per the sources, in its recent order dated 08/03/2019, DAJ has deployed five AEAs giving reference to proposal made by the Agriculture Chemist, Talab Tillo Jammu.
Sources alleged that most of attachments made by DAJ are from the divisions, which are already facing acute dearth of requisite manpower and a single Agriculture Extension Assistant has been holding more than three Panchayats.
The AEAs who got attachments in Jammu for six months are Aprana Ganjoo posted at Panchayat Dagar Sub division Akhnoor and got new place of posting Fertilizer Control Laboratory (FQCL), Jammu, Vibhu Kapoor posted at Panchayat Pachail Sub division R S Pura and got new place at Soil Testing Laboratory Jammu, Vishal Gupta was posted at Panchayat Malla Sub division Akhnoor got deployment at Soil Testing Laboratory.
Whereas both Vikas Gupta and Adarsh Anand were deputed at Panchayats Roun and Jigni of Sub divisions Udhampur and Kalakote, they got deployment for six months in State Pesticide Testing Laboratory.
Source further said that General Administration Department (GAD)'s order/ circular NO. 22-GAD of 2018 dated 06/07/2018 had directed to all the departments that all the employees who were attached in different department should be detached and should join his/her parental department by 16/07/2018, but showing thumb to GAD order, DAJ attached officials in violation of said order.
The official said that the order issued by Governor to cancel all attachment was a welcoming step but influential officers leave no stone unturned to hoodwink the Governor's secretariat with active connivance of higher officials of the department.
