BLSKS showcases "Chalo Barasne Khelen Ge Holi" musical play

Jammu, Mar 20: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sanstha showcased Chalo Barasne Khelen Ge Holi in coordination with Sarwasti Sangeet Vidyala Sanga Tru Art Production, Durga Bhawan Trust and National College of Computer Education on the Holi festival at open theatre Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu
The Musical play was Written, Produced and Directed by M. L. Dogra former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India and music was composed by Singer Raju Bajgal. The Program was inaugurated by V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Dr. Anupriya Sharma, President Medical Cell J&K, Dr.Tara Singh Charak,Former Deputy Director, Health Department,J&K Government, J.K.Raina, Producer Director Films, Ali Mohd, Iqrar Mohd, olk singer of J&K were the Guest of Honour.
The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such colorful festival and highlighted history of 'Holi" and said the Holi is the festival signifies the love, hormony, happiness, celebration. It is one such occasion which is celebrated by all religion. Irrespective of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christians the festival is all about unity. Colors are sought as the token of cheerfulness, unity, harmony love and victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair ruptured relationships.
The singers,musician,actors and students of Music and Computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, K.K.Joshi, M.C.Kotwal , Mr.Raju Bajgal, Dhruv Pandit, Rajni Gupta, Chahat Chadha, Mohd. Afroz, Kuldeep Raj, Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma, Gouri Lal, Renu Saproo, Garu Ram, Sumeeta Bhat, Priya Sharma, Heena Khan, Tilak Raj, Ujwal Sharma, Vansh Raina,Sanvi Raina, Diksha Jamwal, Mukesh Afroz, Bhoomika Chib, Neelam Chib, Suraj Mahant, Megha Raina, Preeti Parihar, Geetanjali Parihar, Rudra Parihar, Devansh, Azen Ali, Pummy, Sumeeta Bhat, Rahul Raina.
