3/24/2019 10:27:13 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 24: Exhorting on all Brahmins to get unite in the present ear, the national chief patron Brahmin Organisation of India ( BOI) Pt Sukhbir Sharma chief guest said that the government is working against the Brahmins by ignoring the Brahmins and their importance so it is time that we have to put a united face.
While addressing a northern region delegation convention of Brahmins Organisation of India (BOI) at Jammu, he said that it is the right to time to think about the conspiracy being unleashed by the government to discourage and dishonor the Brahmins at all the levels. He further said that it is right time to put heads together otherwise the future of Brahmins' children will be in dark and by that time we would have nothing in our hands. He said that Brahmins are the intellectual class of the world and never believed in violence or hostility. He said that the Brahmins always stood for peace, secularism, brotherhood and socialism.
Rejecting the concept of reservation for the Brahmins, he said that there are 30 crores of Brahmins in India and as per their population ratio they have the right on the natural resources, jobs and other things as per the population percentage and asked the government to provide everything as per the population percentage.
National general secretary Dr Kuldeep Sharma said that Brahmins are not weak and they can do whatever they want but the only pre-condition is that all the Brahmins have to be united and have to sink their all their differences. He further said that some political parties have taken the Brahmins as granted but they forgot that they have ignored Brahmins in every aspect.
The J&K state president BOI Pt RC Sharma said that the Brahmins in J&K state are in minority and so the government should accord the minority status to Brahmins in the state with immediate effect. He asked the government to take the issues and problems of Displaced Persons of 1947 (PoK refugees) as maximum numbers belong to Brahmins community. He urged the government that out of Rs 30 lakh relief recommended by the then state government only Rs 5.5 lakhs has been given the DP family where as the rest of Rs 24.5 lakhs should be released in their favour. He also said that issues and problems of KPs should be taken at priority so that they may live with dignity.
