Security cover withdrawal of Early Times' Editor unfortunate: Nadeem Rafiq Khan

Mendhar, Mar 24: Terming the decision of security agencies to withdraw security cover of Editor-in-Chief of Early Times as unfortunate, a prominent social activist of Nadeem Rafiq Khan said that the step taken is hasty and biased.
In a message to the Editor-in-Chief of Early Times, Khan said that Early Times not only raises the voice of common people's suffering but also has its reach at every nook and corner of the state.
Khan further stated that such suppressive tactics of the authorities gives more courage and dedication to the media fraternity. Moreover, administration needs to reconsider its decision and should provide proper security cover to the Editor of Early Times in order to carry on the duty of fourth pillar of democracy for larger interest of the state.
Majid Khan Bobby, Kissan Mazdoor Union president also criticized the decision and termed it as irresponsible attitude towards the leading voice of JK people while Nazir Ahmed, a retired BDO of Balakote Dhargloon also lamented the authorities for the move to withdraw the security of Early Times' Editor.
