Reasi, Mar 25: Sangam Theatre Group Reasi in collaboration with District Administration Reasi performed Nuked Natak "Matdaan" at different blocks of the district Reasi. The Natak was written by Shadab Khan & Neeraj Kesar and directed by M. Akram Khan. The natak was based on election promotions under systemic voters education and electoral participation (SVEEP) Programme. The characters of the nuked natak narrate the public "Matdaan aya,Vote dalo, sare dalo" and stressed more and more participation of people in the election to cast the vote properly in fair and ethical manner and every eligible voter to cost the vote in upcoming Election in district Reasi. The play depicts rights of the voter and how to elect the right candidate. This was achieved on one side through the active dissemination of information among the general public with a special focus on the knowledge about voters more participation in the upcoming election. The Artist who performed in the Nuked were Rohit Kumar, Pritam Kumar, Akram Khan, Monika Kumari, Reshav Banathia, Rajat Sharma,Sarita Bhagat, Sarooj Kumari and Raja Aamir Khan. Public of the areas witnessed and appreciated the efforts made by the theatre group as well as District administration for organizing and performed such type of the play on Election Promotion under SVEEP for awareness of young voters. |
