Insignificant leaders spiting venom to grab headlines
NC hurls abuses on PM in open

Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Mar 26: Once again National Conference has exposed itself by using derogatory language against PM Narendra Modi.
National Conference Senior Leader from Mendhar, Javed Rana equated Prime Minister Modi to a terrorist.
During a rally Rana said "I am not shy to tell world that Modi is a terrorist, if anyone asks me what is terrorist, I will answer Modi is the example of terrorist".
In a bid to grab headlines and remain in public attention, National Conference leaders have been performing the cheap theatrics since the day polls were announced in Jammu and Kashmir. "You cannot use such lewd language against the Prime Ministry of world's largest democracy. There has to be limit to be a limit. People from national conference are spitting venom against the democratic institutions in a bid to impress electorate," said a Jammu based political activist.
Earlier, on March 17, when an election rally of the National Conference was being held in north Kashmir, Akbar Lone used derogatory language against the Prime Minister. On March 23, this erratic NC leader already known for his bizarre, unfounded and unnatural statements and comments threw all ethics to wind when he declared in a public rally that he wasn't ashamed of lauding Pakistan. " Wo musalmaan mulk hai, wo abaad rahay, hamari aur unki dosti baday, uss dosti ka mai ashiq hun…Agar unko koi aik gali dega mai unko yahan se dass galiyan dunga," Lone said in his address.
Pertinent to mention here, Lone was the first mainstream politician from the state to oppose anti-militancy operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Even 10 days before the gruesome episode of Pulwama shocked the nation, Lone made a startling statement against anti-militancy operations in Kashmir.
He even accused the government of India of treating all Kashmiri people as militants. "By saying that Modi can break the back bone of militancy means that they treat all Kashmiri as militants, and they can do anything for that, even they kill civilians during encounters. Govt. doesn't care about people of Kashmir which Modi proves by his statement about militancy. They can do that but they also kill civilians which people have seen in 2018," Lone was quoted as having said in his statement.
