Kathua Club, Diamond Club & Jammu Cricket Club register wins

JAMMU, Mar 31 : Kathua Cricket Club, Diamond Cricket Club & Jammu Cricket Club registered win against their opponents and entered in the next stage in the ongoing Winter Shield T20 Cup which is being organized SCA, J&K Sports Council under the supervision of Dr. Naseem Choudhary, Secretary J&K Sports Council. The slogan of the tournament is "lets' play together and enjoy T20 Cricket". And the main objective engage youths and students in sports so that they may not derail from the main stream and to provide a professional platform to them to show case their hidden skills.
In todays' first Kathua Cricket Club defeated Shere Kashmir Cricket Club by 1 wicket.
Batting first Shere Kashmir Cricket Club scored 111 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 18 overs wherein Vijay 34 runs, Rohit 30 runs and Karan 13 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Balbir and Anil took 2 each while Rohit, Anmol and Sunil took 1 wicket each.
In reply Kathua Cricket Club chased the target in 15.4 over for the loss of 9 wickets thus won the match by 1 wicket. Manmohan 33 runs, Rohit Chandan 18 runs and Balbir 10 were the main scorers. From bowling side Abhinandan and Pankaj took 3 wickets each, Rohit took 2 wickets while Anubhav took 1 wicket each. Manmohan was declared man of the match.
In second match Diamond Club defeated Bali Cricket Club by 11 runs.
Batting first Diamond Cricket Club scored 113 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 18 overs. Narinder 31 runs, Pawandeep 22 runs and J.P.12 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Vikrant and Rohit took 2 wickets each while Nitin took 1 wicket .
In reply Bali Club could not chased the target and managed to 102 in 17.2 overs for the loss of all wickets thus lost the match by 11 runs. Vikrant 31 runs, Martin 18 runs and Sanju 14 runs were the main scorers. From Bowling Side Sarabjeet and J.P. took 3 wickets each while Manpreet and Pawandeep took 1 wicket each. J.P. was declare man of the Match.
In another match JCC defeated Champions Jammu by huge margin of 86 runs.
Batting first JCC scored 183 runs in the allotted 18 overs game for the loss of 3 wickets with Shubam Pundir 62 runs(not out),Surya 43 runs (not out) and Vivrant 25 runs. From the bowling side Kaka took 2 wickets while Honda took 1 wicket.
In reply Champions Club managed to 97 runs for the loss of all wickets thus lost the match by 86 runs. Bhanu 25,Bambru 19 and Akshit 17 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Deepak took 3 wickets,Sushant and Aman took 2 wickets each while Gurupartap took 1 wicket.
Shubam declared man of the match for his super unbeaten batting.
The matches were officiated by Vijay, Dayal and Ashok Kumar.
