'Amit Shah cannot fool people of Jammu, Udhampur'
4/4/2019 11:00:58 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 4: By invalidating the Dogra history, BJP President Amit Shah has proved that either his knowledge about J&K is laughably limited or he thinks that people of Jammu and Udhampur are so dumb that they can be befooled easily by twisting the facts using BJP's skillfully crafted Jumlas.
This was stated by Dogra Scion and veteran Congress leader Karan Singh while reacting sharply against BJP President's deliberate attempt to downsize grandeur of Dogra legacy and sacrifices only to attain petty political dividends.
Expressing surprise over Amit Shah mentioning BJP's failed Clean Devika Project conceived to drain Rs. 180 crore in Udhampur, Karan Singh said that except nameplate nothing has been changed on ground although king-size news items often appear in certain sections of media to deceive people by making false claims.
The veteran Congress leader said that while talking of BJP's so called 'Vikas', Amit Shah remained tightlipped on the issue of scanty job avenues in the country and what BJP has done to address joblessness which under BJP's regime is touching those heights which were never ever seen in the history of India. Karan Singh said, "It is agonizing that Safron party's national chief is telling people that he is glad to hear pro BJP sloganeering but has shown complete ignorance about PHE workers who have been on strike and protesting against the BJP government for the last four years".
"While boasting of national security and anti-terrorism measures he forgot that the casualties of jawans and border people besides deaths of civilians in terrorist attacks have increased immensely in the 5 years of BJP government", Karan Singh said adding that knowing very well about Jitendra Singh's failed tenure as an MP he did not even mention his name or any achievement of his in his speech.
Citing the public welfare initiatives of Congress party which is having a track record of satiating aspirations of all the sections of society, he asked the people of the State to overwhelmingly support his party in the Lok Sabha elections to once again bring back 'Ache Din' in real terms.
