| ACR to enquire MCC violation by Professor | | |

Doda, Apr 14: Assistant Returning Officer, 53-Doda Assembly Constituency Kishori Lal Sharma, took strict action against the Model Code of Conduct violations by Assistant Professor Babu Ram of GDC Doda and deputed ACR Doda Kaiser Bhawani as enquiry officer.
A case of violation was brought to the notice of District Election Authority Doda, thereafter Nodal officer MCC directed the Principal GDC Doda vide No: DCD/25/ Dated 11-04-19 for detailed report. In reply, Principal submitted that complaint appears irrelevant and video clip was taken in a religious function. But the video clip clearly revealed that report submitted by Principal GDC is not satisfactory.
After Early Times YouTube Channel and already written complaint submitted by Advocate Babur, District Election Authority swung into action and vide No ARO/D/LS/05-U/19/592-98 dated 13-04-2019 attached him to the office of ACR Doda with immediate effect till further enquiry.
His salary has been kept withheld till further orders. ACR Doda has been directed to conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter and to submit a comprehensive report in the office within two days.
The ADM assuref that utmost impartiality and neutrality will be maintained in dealing with cases of violations of MCC. |
