JAMMU, Apr 17: All J&K State Pensioners Association held emergency meeting in the Chairmanship of Madan Lal Abrol in connection with the problems faced by senior citizen.
The meeting concluded that the 7th P ay Commission arrears has not released yet by the AG and thousands of forms are lying with the A.G. They stressed upon Governor Satya Paul Malik to send the forms from A.G to treasurer to sanction in the favour of State Pensioners. The medical allowance has not been increased from Rs. 300 to Rs. 3000 as the cost of medicines has increased.
The other members attended the meeting were Des Raj Sharma, Yash Paul Sanson, Jagdish Dogra, Ram Dass Bhagat, Bhushan Pargal, Harbans Singh, Mohd Shafi, Puran Chand Khajuria, all the members of the Association have spoken in one voice that present government has failed to fulfil the demands of state pensioners.
The Association decided to stage protest demonstration on Tuesday 23.04.2019 at 11 AM at Central Mahajan Hall Jammu. All the state pensioners of the State are requested to come and stressed upon the government to give the arrear of 7th Pay Commission and increase the medical allowance of state pensioners. |
