Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Apr 20: Students of B.Com/ B.Sc/B.A hold protest near GDC Bhaderwah and blocked college entry for hours. They were demanding pre-pone of examinations of re-appear students of 4th semester (Non-CBCS) (who are currently studying in 6th semester) in GDCs in Chenab Valley.
A major group of students in GDC Bhaderwah already submitted a request for pre-ponement of examinations of re-appear students 4th semester (Non-CBCS) on 17 April to College Principal and also mailed to University Vice Chancellor, as per a protesting student. But after no response from the authorities, the students protest in front of GDC Bhaderwah.
A student Sheetal Kotwal while talking to Early Times elaborated the request of pre-ponement that the datesheet of re-appeared students of 4th semester (who are presently studying in 6th semester in GDC Bhaderwah) has been declared by Jammu University in which examinations are to be held in the month of July 2019 which is directly going to effect the further studies of the students.
She also said that the students have to go for the admission of Master's Degree and if the examination will be conducted in July, students will not get admissions for further studies.
SDPO Bhaderwah Iftkhar Ahmed, SHO and other officials visited protest spot and assured the students that matter will be solved till within two days. After assurance, students ends the protest.
